Coming
to Venice we realized that the structure of VIVERE VENEZIA 2 repeats
the structure of La Biennale di Venezia in Giardini. The exhibition
and the catalogue of both of them are structured in the way that separates
art projects by pavilions that represent countries. In our case the
separation is made by universities. We reacted on the organization of
biennale, so our project became site-specific or more exactly we named
it event-specific.Out of these facts we proposed establishment of the
international group of students to create an independent so called GREYZONE.
This GREYZONE is subsystem of VV2.
The
main reason for initiation the international group was to broaden the
space of exchanging ideas and experiences. We want to confront different
opinions and experiences, different strategies of reviling the ideas,
to get the new and more complex views on art field. Artificial borders
could disappear and that would bring possibilities for progress and
development of our creative work. The GREYZONE project is starting from
point zero. We just initiated the group. We did not propose neither
the concept, content and strategy of working, nor anything about the
materialization. The project GREYZONE is not our project. We found this
international group project relevant for the time and place present.
